Get in touchBuzzmove
A price comparator for removal companies in the United Kingdom done in Backbone JS.
Buzzmove offers to facilitate a difficult process we've all faced one day or another: moving house.
This happens in several steps: define and evaluate the volume of objects to move (furniture, boxes), choose your starting, ending point and moving date, compare and choose your removal company amongst the calculated quotes and finally book and pay.
It is also possible to come back and explore your quote once the payment has been completed thanks to a management interface.
There's an area dedicated to administrators so they can handle the various internal steps for the quotes of the clients.
Likewise, the removal companies that partner with the site have their dedicated area as well, so they can access the details of their clients or personalize their dedicated pages.
From a technical point of vue, I have used Backbone JS to create the booking process and make it a single-page application. In this way, I have architectured and structured the application on the frontend side of things and coordinated the data modelling with the backend developers.
The project also includes integrations with Google Maps for the address search and Stripe for the online payment.
